Tour Itinerary

Day 1 Cairo

 Wednesday, Welcome to the land of the pharaohs! Arrive Cairo, included transfer to hotel and overnight.

Day 2 Pyramids
Today, we visit the legendary pyramids and iconic Sphinx at Giza Plateau. Sole survivors from the ancient Greek-listed Seven Wonders of the World. Gaze in awe at the largest of the three great pyramids – Cheops, constructed from over 2.5 million limestone blocks it took more than 20 years to construct. We explore this area on foot and then on the back of a camel! Off we ride into the sands, our sturdy ships of the desert beneath us!
Day 3 The Egyptian Museum
Cairo – Aswan. Today, we venture in search of the treasures of King Tutankhamen, mummies and more at the Egyptian Museum. Later we tour the Islamic Citadel of Saladin with views looking down over the old city, watching people go about their daily life. We conclude the day with a market walk through the bustling Khan el-Khalili bazaar. Time to freshen up, this evening we take the comfortable overnight sleeper train to Aswan.
Day 4 Aswan

This morning we arrive into Aswan Sagittarius Travel representative will meet you and assist with immigration procedures then transfer to visit to visit the beautiful Temple of philae  dedicated to the worship of the Goddess of Love the Goddess Isis. After that visit the gigantic task of the modern era, built by the Egyptians,Aswan High Dam and afternoon enjoy  to ride Felucca  (sailboat) on the famous River Nile view Panoramic Botanical Garden, Elephantine Island and Agha Khan Mausoleum, (from outside), after dinner evening free time in Aswan old Market by yourself, Overnight in Aswan on board Cruise.

Day 5 kom ombo

Early morning navigation to Komombo city to visit the Temple of Sobek  and continue sailing after the visit to Edfu City, move by a Horse Carriage to visit the Horus Temple at Edfu, sailing to Luxor after Edfu temple visit and cross Esna Lock, Tea time in the sunset on the sundeck and after dinner enjoy Galabiya party on board. overnight in Cruise.

 

Day 6 Valley of the kings

Early Morning, we Cross the Nile to visit the Valley of the kings , Hatshepsut temple and the Colossi of Memnon, back to Cruise and in the evening enjoy the sound and light show at Karnak Temple, then back to the cruise for dinner and attend the belly dancer and the oriental show party on board the cruise and overnight in Luxor.

 

Day 7 Karnak & Luxor Temple

 Morning Disembarkation from Cabin after breakfast,Today  we visit Karnak and Luxor Temples  More than a temple, Karnak is a spectacular complex of sanctuaries, pylons, statuettes and obelisks. Built on a grand scale, Karnak is probably Egypt’s finest ancient temple.  Tonight, we return to Cairo by sleeper train.

Day 8 Cairo-Alexandria

Arrival to Cairo,  this morning we drive to the port side city of Alexandria on the Mediterranean Coast. Arriving at the windswept city known for its broad beaches and seafront corniche dotted with sun loungers, amusements and cafes we embark on a guided tour of the Roman catacombs. Heading underground we view the largest known Roman burial site in Egypt, complete with burial chambers, labyrinth alleyways and entertaining rooms for families coming to visit the dead. From the catacombs we visit Pompey’s Pillar, a modest 25m tower, which is all that remains of an ancient column, from the ruined Temple of Serapis. Next stop is the impressive Library of Alexandria (and those who are interested can go inside) before taking a leisurely stroll along the corniche to the Citadel of Qaitbey. back to cairo over night at your hotel

Day 9 Cairo
Arriving into Cairo this morning, the rest of the day is free to explore Africa’s largest city. Spend the day around the pool, or perhaps head out, explore and take the family for a nice lunch at one of the city’s many hotels.
Day 10 Cairo
Monday. Tour ends after breakfast and included onward transfer to airport.
