Tour Itinerary

Day 1 Cairo

 Friday, Welcome to Egypt! Arrive Cairo, included transfer to hotel and overnight.
Overnight: Cairo

Day 2 Egyptian Museum
Today we visit the Egyptian Museum for an informative guided tour. The Egyptian Museum holds a mind-boggling array of relics and antiquities from almost every period of ancient Egyptian history are housed in the museum, making it one of the foremost in the world. Arguably the most famous exhibit is the solid gold funerary mask of King Tutankhamun. Made of solid gold and weighing 11kg, the mask was found covering the head of mummy, where it lay inside a series of 3 sarcophagi. You can also opt to see also the Royal Mummies for a small additional fee, if you wish. The rest of the day is at leisure, you may wish to visit the splendid souk of Khan el-Khalili or simply relax by the hotel pool. Overnight: Cairo | Breakfast
Day 3 Pyramids of Giza
Cairo – Luxor. Today see the incredible pyramids and sphinx at Giza. Perhaps opt to ride a camel. Later we travel to Saqqara, to explore the myriad of tombs and temples at the site and see Zhoser’s step pyramid – constructed by Imhotep, the pharaoh’s chief architect in 2700 BC. There will be time for dinner before we travel by overnight sleeper train to Luxor. Overnight: Sleeper Train | Breakfast
Day 4 Ancient Thebes

We arrive into Luxor Sagittarius Travel representative will meet you and assist with immigration procedures then transfer to visit the West Bank of Luxor to visit the Valley of the Kings (where the tomb of Tut-Ankh-Amun (the visit to this tomb is not included), the guide will give explanations of the tombs, then move to the beautiful Temple of Der el Bahari, dedicated to the funerary cult of Queen Hatshepsut, and the Statues of Memnon back to the cruise. Dinner. Overnight on board. Overnight Luxor.

Day 5 Luxor and karnak temples

Breakfast then transfer to the Eastern shore of Luxor to visit the amazing Temples of Luxor and Karnak, dedicated to the worship of Almighty God of the New Empire “god Amun.” Return to the cruise. Lunch on board and Sail to Edfu after dinner enjoy Galabiya party on board and Overnight in Edfu

Day 6 Aswan

  Early Morning transfer by horse carriage to visit the Temple of “Horus” (represented by Falcon) God’s Power was once partly covered by silt during the periodic flooding of the Nile River After completing the rescue and restoration work We find one of the most beautiful temples of the Ptolemaic era in a state of exceptional preservation. Return to the cruise Breakfast & sail to Kom- Ombo. After Lunch Landing visit to the Temples of the Gods Sobek (crocodile) and Haroeris. Return to the cruise and Sail to Aswan. Dinner and Overnight in Aswan.

Day 7 Philae temple

After Breakfast transfer to visit the gigantic task of the modern era, built by the Egyptians, “Aswan High Dam” (considered the second largest in the world). Then move to visit the beautiful Temple of Philae, dedicated to the worship of the Goddess of Love the Goddess Isis. Back to the cruise. Lunch on board . In the afternoon, enjoy riding Felucca (sailboat) on the Nile and view of Elephantine Island and Agha Khan Mausoleum (without entrance ) . back to the cruise. Dinner. after that attend the belly dancer and the oriental show party on board, Overnight at Aswan.

Day 8 Aswan- sleeper train

 After Breakfast. disembarkation from cruise Ability to perform optional tour to visit Abu Simbel temple by private vehicle (where two majestic temples and impressive Temple of Ramses II (the most interesting temple is the sanctuary, where there are four statues, one of Ramses II, each year produces lighting the sanctuary with the entry of the sun only twice a year (October 23 and February 23, commemorating the birth and the appointment of Ramses II) and the Temple of Nefertari (another great temple of Ramses II ‘s wife and the Goddess Hathor). Day 9 Alexandria day tour

  Upon our morning arrival in Cairo we transfer to the hotel for check-in. After some time to freshen up we head to drive by air-conditioned vehicle to Alexandria, start your Alexandria day tour to visit Quitbay CitadelCatatomb of Kom El Shokafa, Pompay’s Pillar, Alexandria Liberary, enjoy Lunch at local restaurant ( Vegetarian food can be offered on request ), at the end of your tour, drive back to your hotel in Cairo, overnight in Cairo.

Day 10 Final Departure

  Breakfast at hotel. transfer to Cairo International Airport for final departure.
