Tour Itinerary

Day 1 cairo

 Saturday, Welcome to Egypt and the start of your holiday! Upon arrival at Cairo airport you will be met and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to spend at your own leisure.

Day 2 cairo -luxor

 Cairo – Luxor. Today we visit the legendary pyramids and the iconic Sphinx at Giza Plateau. Sole survivors from the ancient Greek-listed Seven Wonders of the World, the pyramids are the planet’s oldest tourist attraction. Leaving the pyramids behind, we visit a government supervised papyrus emporium where you can buy genuine papyrus at quite reasonable prices.

Continuing to the necropolis of Saqqara, we can explore the myriad tombs and temples at this site and see Zhoser’s step pyramid – constructed by Imhotep, the pharaoh’s chief architect in 2700 BC.

This evening we board an overnight sleeper cabin train, travelling south to Luxor with a light dinner included.

Day 3 Valley of the king

   Early Morning Arrival Luxor Station meet Sagittarius travel representative then transfer to dock and Embarkation  on the Nile cruise based on full board “buffet “(excluding drinks). after Lunch then Meet your guide and transfer to the West Bank of Luxor to visit the valley of the kings   (where the tomb of Tut-Ankh-Amun (the visit to this tomb is not included), the guide will give explanations of the tombs, then move to the beautiful Temple of Der el Bahari, dedicated to the funerary cult of Queen Hatshepsut ,and the statuses of Memnon back to the cruise. Dinner and Overnight in Luxor.

Day 4-5 Luxor and karnak temples

Breakfast, Then transfer to the Eastern bank of Luxor to visit the amazing Temple of Luxor and Karnak , dedicated to the worship of Almighty God of the New Empire “god Amun.”  Return to the cruise. After lunch. Sail to Edfu. Dinner and Overnight in Edfu.

Breakfast. then transfer by carriage to the Temple of Hours  (represented by Falcon) God’s Power was once partly covered by silt during the periodic flooding of the Nile River After completing the rescue and restoration work We find one of the most beautiful temples of the Ptolemaic era in a state of exceptional preservation. Overview of Edfu. Return to the cruise. and sail to Kom-Ombo lunch on board then visit to the temple of the Gods crocodile and Haroeris  ,Return to the cruise and sail to Aswan. Dinner and Overnight in Aswan.

Day 6 Phila temple

  After breakfast transfer to visit the gigantic task of the modern era, built by the Egyptians, Aswan High Dam (considered the second largest in the world). after that visit the beautiful Temple of Philae  dedicated to the worship of the Goddess of Love the Goddess Isis. “Back to the cruise. Lunch . In the afternoon,  enjoy riding Felucca (sailboat) on the Nile and have a look to Elephantine Island and Agha Khan Mausoleum. back to the cruise. Dinner and Overnight in Aswan.   

Day 7 aswan

 Breakfast Landing. Ability to perform Optional visit to Abu Simbel temple by private vehicle   (where two majestic temples and impressive Temple of Ramses II (the most interesting temple is the sanctuary, where there are four statues, one of Ramses II, each year produces lighting the sanctuary with the entry of the sun only twice a year (October 23 and February 23, commemorating the birth and the appointment of Ramses II) and the Temple of Nefertari (another great temple of Ramses II’s wife and the Goddess Hathor). transfer to sleeper train back to  Cairo.   

Day 8 cairo

  Upon our morning arrival in Cairo we transfer to the hotel for check-in. After some time to freshen up we head to the Egyptian Museum ,. A mind-boggling array of relics and antiquities from almost every period of ancient Egyptian history are housed in the museum, making it one of the foremost in the world. Arguably the most famous exhibit is the solid gold funerary mask of King Tutankhamun. Opt to see also the Royal Mummies, if you wish. Overnight in Cairo

Day 9 cairo

 Today our holiday concludes. Hotel check out and included transfer to the airport.
